Hilary Duff Dons Texas Longhorns Shirt

Actress and singer Hilary Duff is engaged to hockey player Mike Comrie of the Edmonton Oilers, although he’s not her only sports connection.

Duff, a Houston native, was recently seen out and about sporting a Texas Longhorns shirt. I guess she’s just as excited for college football as the rest of us.

A wedding date for the couple has yet to be announced. It seems like hockey players are all the rage this summer, as singer and former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood married Mike Fisher of the Ottawa Senators back in July.

You may wonder why some people compare  Notre Dame to college football as Duke is to college basketball.

NCAA Football 11 Cover Released

The newest version of the college football game won’t be available until July 13, 2010, but the cover featuring Tim Tebow has been released.

While he was visiting EA Studios, Tebow was able to play the game early, including the new features. For the first time in the franchise’s history, the game will include authentic playbooks for all 120 FBS teams.
