Flo Rida Creates Miami Heat Anthem

Rapper Rick Ross has already declared himself the next Jack Nicholson, and will look to make a name for himself as the Miami Heat’s biggest fan. Post-arrival of James/Bosh, of course.

Fellow hip-hop artist Flo Rida apparently supports the Heat as well, releasing a song called “We Already Won,” featuring rhymes centered around the Heat’s trio.

If you ask me that’s a bold statement, but judging from his musical moniker I would assume Flo Rida is a big fan of Florida. Somewhere Jay-Z is shaking his head in disgust…or maybe that’s amusement.

Listen to the song and watch Dwyane Wade posterize Anderson Varejao below.

Newly acquired Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh is recognized around the NBA for making funny and creative YouTube videos, almost as much as he is known for his production on the court.

Bosh went on the ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ and took his shot-blocking ability with him. The two discussed Bosh’s new move and YouTube glory for a bit, but what ensued afterward has to my knowledge never been attempted before on a late night talk show.

Fallon challenged Bosh to a little one-on-one, as a basketball goal was provided on set. As you may have guessed the match was far from a competitive, but entertaining nonetheless.

The new big three, aka LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade, have already been at the center of attention in the sports world for the past week, and now tales of their companionship is venturing out into the music industry.

Rapper ‘The Game’ has released a new song called “M.I.A.,” and as of now that is the only known reference to the Miami Heat’s terrific threesome.

The lyrics go “I keep three heats on me, 45, Glock, and the gauge, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and D-Wade. Any n**** try to stunt, get sprayed.”

So yeah, not the deepest or most thoughtful lyrics you’ve ever heard, but nonetheless it’s always interesting to see sports references in music. I’m just waiting for the first “The Decision” reference. Wouldn’t surprise me if it came from the Bloodhound Gang.

When Chris Bosh isn’t asking his twitter followers what team he should sign with or enjoying not liking Toronto with Hedo Turkoglu, he’s probably filming a video.

The big man gained internet fame after posting a video a couple of years ago on YouTube endorsing himself for the 2008 All-Star game, and has released a few other videos that reached moderate success on his YouTube channel ‘cboshtv‘.

Today Bosh tweeted that he was “meeting with funny or die in a few”. Funny or Die is the comedic brainchild of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, and is known for getting big names for their satirical skits.

Funny or Die, who have nearly 1.5 million followers on twitter, tweeted a photo of Bosh at the FoD office holding an official FoD hat.

This could only mean one thing, that Chris Bosh and Funny or Die have collaborated to make a video that will come out sooner or later. Until then, here is Bosh’s latest video, him doing an advertisement for Google’s newest phone, the Nexus One.
