The ability of Denver Broncoes draftee Tim Tebow to translate his skils to the next level may be in question, but we know one thing’s for certain; his popularity will make the transition just fine.
Tebow will retain the number 15 in the NFL, and has already set the record for most jersey sales for a NFL draftee during draft weekend, breaking the previous record held by Mark Sanchez.
The league doesn’t disclose the exact sales totals, but according to NFL spokeswoman Joanna Hunter, “It’s a pretty substantial difference between him and the next guy.”
Coming in second was Ndamukong Suh of the Detroit Lions, followed by Sam Bradford of the St. Louis Rams, Eric Berry of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys.
