USA soccer suffered a fatal blow in a loss to Ghana to end their 2010 World Cup dreams, but looking back on the tournament USA soccer will now be looked upon in a different light, one with respect and dignity. So if you’re one for looking on the brighter side of things, there’s that.

Former President Bill Clinton was present just as he was for the USA’s epic win over Algeria, and was accompanied by none other than rock star Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones.

The camera showed Clinton and Jagger multiple times, but apparently Lakers star and NBA Finals MVP Kobe Bryant was more conspicuous.

Other notable people who were there that I know of are CBS broadcaster Katie Couric and Phoenix Suns guard Jason Richardson, although I’m sure there was an overload on non camera-shy celebrities.

If you can’t get enough of the “short, old, Canadian basketball player” Steve Nash in the playoffs, then the latest Vitamin Water commercial will do your craving justice.

Nash goes on the fictional talk show ‘Space Ghost Coast to Coast,’ which is hosted by the fictional superhero Space Ghost, who doesn’t hold back when it comes to making his guests feel uncomfortable.

After this latest ad it looks like Vitamin Water’s advertising is catching up to that of Nike, although I’m pretty sure Nike’s latest World Cup commercial is unbeatable.

One of the perks of being a movie star means amazing seats at sporting events. Actor David Arquette sat courtside at game one of the Western Conference Finals at the Staples Center, although he got more action than he bargained for.

The Lakers won big over the Suns, and a few fans deemed it necessary to rush the court in celebration. One man took a direct path through Arquette, subsequently knocking him down and attracting the attention of several security guards.

Via Rick Chandler of NBC Sports, we have photographic evidence of this Kodak moment. Rather than a thousand words, I think all this picture contains is a few four-letter ones.

Unfortunately Luckily, Courtney Cox was nowhere to be found at the bottom of the pile.
